Zarif briefs Majlis on nuclear talks, agreement

Tehran, Nov 27, IRNA - Foreign Minister Mohamamd Javad Zarif briefed the Iranian parliament on the process and achievements of the recent nuclear negotiations in Geneva with the six world powers.
He attended the Wednesday morning open session of the Majlis during which he outlined the achievements of the talks which led to signing of an agreement with 5+1.

He said the important factor was that all were aware, from the very beginning, that entering discussions would mean facing certain fundamental difficulties because each party wanted to leave the talks with utmost gain and optimum satisfaction.

Pointing to some factors contributing to the success of all negotiations, he said the US published a fact sheet on the White House website just after the talks which, he said, contained no facts at alls.

He said the White House declined to publish the text of ?the joint action plan? because it wanted to maneuver on it.
