Police helicopter crashes in southeast Iran

Tehran, Nov 26, IRNA – A police helicopter crashed on Tuesday due to technical failure while returning from a mission in Saravan in the sotheastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.

The helicopter crashed five kilometers away from Saravan city on Tuesday morning, Saravan’s Governor Mohammad Sharif Khaleghi said.

Thanks to the experiences of its pilot, the accident had no casualties, he said.

Fortunately, all four passengers on board are safe, he said.
