Zarif denies secret talks between Iran, USA

Geneva, Nov 22, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif denied certain news concerning secret talks between Iran and the USA about Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria.
To a question about the news in the French Newspaper ?Le Figaro? that Iran had secret talks with the USA about Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq, Zarif said the news was totally false and we had no discussion with the USA except on the nuclear issue.

Concerning Geneva 3 nuclear talks, Zarif said 90 percent of the issues are moving forward, but the two remaining issues are very important, so we should see how much we can move forward with them, but the progress was altoghether not bad.

Concerning his talk with Lakhdar Brahimi, Zarif said that they discussed human issues in Syria and exchanged views on his past and future talks with Turkey?s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

He added the two sides agreed to be in contact with each other.
