Three Iranian screen creations have been displayed at the 2013 edition of International Forum of New Cinema in the Indian city of Kolkata.
The Bear by Khosrow Maasoumi, The Hidden by Mehdi Rahmani and My Tribe by Gholam Reza Azadi were Iranian representatives in Kolkata film festival.
Maasoumi’s feature-length movie The Bear has been warmly welcomed at the 15th edition of the Shanghai International Film Festival (SIFF) in China.
The film features the bitter story of a prisoner of imposed Iran-Iraq war, who is released after years.
The Hidden also took part in Avanca film festival in Portugal. My Tribe was also screened in various film festivals such as Kerala in India and Rolan Bykov in Armenia.
The 19th International Forum of New Cinema kicked off on November 10 and will run until November 17, 2013.
