Nuclear talks prove Iran right: Cmdr.

A senior Iranian commander says negotiations between the country and six world powers over its nuclear energy program prove the rightness of Tehran's position.
Nuclear negotiations vindicate the Islamic Republic of Iran and shed light on the opposite sides illogical behavior before the world public opinion, Deputy Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri said on Saturday.
The establishment of the [Islamic Republic of Iran] is in control in the nuclear talks, and Irans nuclear experts in the negotiations will not overstep the [countrys] red lines, Jazayeri added.
On November 7, Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council - the US, France, Britain, Russia and China - plus Germany kicked off intense discussions over Tehran's nuclear energy program in the Swiss city of Geneva which stretched into a third day.

The two sides did not reach an agreement, but stressed that significant progress had been made and expressed optimism about the prospect of a possible deal in the future.

The Iranian commander further warned that the six powers insincerity would increase Irans lack of confidence in those countries.

A day after the talks, US Secretary of State John Kerry claimed that Iran is at fault for the failure of the Geneva talks to reach an agreement. Iran has dismissed the claim.

Political observers, however, say France has been the main reason behind the failure to reach an agreement.

On November 9, French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius said in an interview that Israels concerns must be taken into consideration in the course of the negotiations, adding that there is no certainty whether Iran and six powers will reach an agreement at the current stage.

The next round of negotiations between Iran and the six countries is slated to be held in Geneva on November 20.
