Kameli appointed as NIGEC chief
TEHRAN (FNA)- Managing director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Roknoddin Javadi appointed Alireza Kameli as the top executive of the National Iranian Gas Export Company (NIGEC).


In his decree, the NIOC chief said "with the approval of the NIOC board of directors and considering your expertise and your valuable experience, you are appointed as the NIGEC managing director".

"With regard to the important role the company plays in marketing and gas exports you are requested to pursue the following issues in the framework of the companys statute and regulations:

"Drawing up a new strategy for the company and presenting it to NIOCs board of directors and minister of petroleum for approval, updating and revising the duty and tasks of NIGEC, restructuring and updating the human resources as the main asset of NIGEC and prompting their quality and quantity capabilities in the framework of needs and missions of the company, active interaction with international gas related institutions and especially GECF and its secretary general, conducting up to date studies on gas market developments as well as preparing a report on contracts, MoUs and other previously done issues and presenting them within two weeks."
