Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif says any nuclear proposal that ignores the rights of Iranian people has no chance of success.The important point is that any proposal, which does not meet Irans satisfaction, does not recognize the Iranian nations rights, and is not based on mutual respect, has no chance of success, Zarif told reporters in Tehran on Friday.
Commenting on the recent remarks by US Secretary of State John Kerry about the Geneva negotiations on Irans nuclear energy program, the Iranian foreign minister stated that Kerrys words cannot change what actually took place in Switzerland.
On November 11, Kerry claimed that Iran is at fault for the failure of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council -- Britain, China, France, Russia and the US -- plus Germany in inking a deal with Iran over Tehrans nuclear case during the intensive Geneva talks that started on November 7 and ended in the early hours of November 10.
Despite Kerrys statements, Washington insists that a deal with Iran remains probable in the near future.
Meanwhile, Russia said the failure in the Geneva talks was due to lack of consensus among the six world powers.
Tehran and the six countries will continue their nuclear negotiations in Geneva on November 20.
