Iran to send aid to Philippines over Typhoon Haiyan

Tehran, Nov 13, IRNA – Iran’s Red Crescent Society (RCS) on Wednesday sympathized with the Philippines on Typhoon Haiyan and said it is ready to send humanitarian aid to the country as well as rescue teams and mobile hospital equipment.
In a statement, RCS said its personnel were skilled both nationally and internationally, being capable of controlling disasters.

Typhoon Haiyan slammed the Philippines, ripping through the city of Tacloban. Over 100 deaths have been reported, and the toll is expected to rise.
