Zarif to give televised address on outcome of Geneva talks

Tehran, Nov 11, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif will present a report to the nation about Geneva talks in a televised interview due to be broadcast on Monday night.

Iranian negotiating team led by Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif held three-day marathon talks with foreign ministers of the Group 5+1 in Geneva for three days on November 7-9 to end the stalemate over Iranian nuclear program.

The nuclear talks at foreign ministers level resumed after a diplomatic offensive made by President Hassan Rouhani against the western governments over the arbitrary sanctions at his speech to the United Nations General Assembly last September.

President Rouhani termed the sanctions as ?violent? and said that the western governments have jeopardized the international peace and security by orchestrating sanctions on Iran.
