Paris, Nov 9, IRNA -- Expressing regret over the serious damage inflicted on infrastructure institutions, especially scientific and educational facilities in Syria, Minister of Sciences, Research, and Technology said Iran is ready to help Syria rebuild its infrastructures.
Reza Faraji Dana said this to Syrian Minister of Education Hazvan Alvaz in Paris on Friday on the sidelines of a UNESCO meeting.

Faraji Dana stressed that Iran recognizes the rights of Syrian people to determine their fate without foreign interference.

He expressed hope that Iran would be able to continue its scientific and cultural realations with Syria in the current crisis.

The Syrian minister, for his part, criticized certain ?irresponasible leaders? in the region and praised Iran as a real friend of Syria.
