Iran, Turkey discuss expansion of economic, agricultural cooperation

Ankara, Nov 6, IRNA - Secretary General of the group of eight Islamic developing countries known as D8 Seyed Ali Mohammad Mousavi conferrred on Wednesday with Trukish officials officials in Antalya to on expansion of mutual cooperation between the two sides.

Speaking to IRNA, he said Mousavi in his meeting with the dean of Antalya University explored grounds for expansion of scientific cooperation between the two countries.


Mousavi also met with agricultural officials of the province and sicussed wih them ways of promoting agricultural cooperation between the two counties.

Since Turkey is the next chairman of the D-8, we try to renovate the grouping, Mousavi said.

D-8 grouping comprises eight big Islamic states of Iran, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Egypt and Nigeria.
