TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh said the country is seeking increase of gas exports and guaranteeing its position in the international energy markets.
"Iran, as a country with 33 trillion cubic meters of gas reserves, holds high capacities for producing and exporting gas," Zanganeh said at the 15th Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) ministerial meeting.

He further added the country should use all of its potentials on producing more gas output.

"Iran is very interested in reducing its internal gas consumption to increase export potentials. It is fully ready to use new areas of cooperation with CECF members to guarantee stability of global markets," he added.
