Moscow, Oct 31, IRNA � Iranian Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian arrived in Moscow on Thursday to attend the 44th session of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) Electric Power Council to be held on Friday.
During the session, the CIS energy ministers will explore ways to cooperate in electric power sector and vote for a new chairman of the Council.

On the sidelines of the event, energy ministers of Iran, Russia and Azerbaijan will hold a tripartite meeting.

During his stay, the Iranian energy minister is also scheduled to hold talks with his counterparts from CIS member countries.
