Mutual trust vital in talks between Iran, P5+1: Russian official

Moscow, Oct 30, IRNA - Expansion of mutual trust between Iran and the P5+1 plays a pivotal role in the success of the next round of nuclear talks, a Russian official said on Wednesday.

Talking to IRNA, Director General of the Institute for Foreign Policy Research and Initiatives in Moscow Veronika Krasheninnikovadescribed the latest talks between Iran and the five permanent members of the UN security council including the US, Britain, France, China and Russia plus Germany held in Geneva as fruitful.


Underlining the need for fostering cooperation among all countries for removing challenges including terrorism, she called on the West to seize the chance to interact with Iran.

The Russian official also urged the West to pave the way for reaching an agreement with Iran on the nuclear issue in the future round of negotiations.
