Senior cleric: Iran has given ultimatum to West over nuclear talks

Tehran, Oct 28, IRNA - Tehran?s interim Friday prayers leader, Hojjat-ol-Islam Kazem Sedighi said on Monday that Iran has given ultimatums to West and the G5+1 over nuclear talks.

Speaking to reporters, he said Iran should act in such a way that they will not be able to find any excuses regarding nuclear talks.

We should bear in mind that they are our enemies and the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution has authorized the negotiating team to give ultimatum to the world, he said.

Their stand is crystal clear as they are not going to accept Iran as an independent Islamic country, he said.

Western countries are not concerned about Iran?s nuclear program and they are really worried about the country?s Islamic identity, he underlined.

?They seek to harm us and all should be watchful and closely monitor their deeds,? he said.
