Iran continues 20-pc uranium enrichment: MP

Tehran, Oct 26, IRNA - A senior parliamentarian said on Saturday that the Islamic Republic of Iran is continuing the enrichment of uranium to the 20 percent level.
Talking to IRNA, Chairman of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Majlis Allaeddin Boroujerdi stressed that Tehran is continuing its nuclear activities as before.

Pointing to resumption of talks between Irans working group and the experts of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council - the United States, China, Russia, France and Britain - plus Germany in Geneva, he said: we should wait for the outcome of the talks.

In the recent talks held between Iran and the six world major powers in Geneva on October 15-16, Tehran urged the other side to safeguard the countrys nuclear rights and lift sanctions, Boroujerdi added.

Iran-5+1 expert level talks will be held on October 29-30 in Vienna.

The two sides have agreed to meet again in Geneva on November 7-8.
