Velayati describes Geneva talks as positive

Tehran, Oct 25, IRNA - Supreme Leaders Advisor in International Affairs Ali Akbar Velayati on Friday described the actions of Iran's negotiating team in talks between the Islamic Republic and six major world powers over Tehrans nuclear energy program in Geneva as "positive."
Speaking exclusively with IRNA, Velayati stressed that the negotiating team was fully experienced in international negotiations and properly served the country's national interests.

Pointing to the fact that all measures should be conducted in full coordination with Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, he underlined that Irans negotiating team is trying to safeguard the countrys nuclear rights and ease sanctions.

Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council - the United States, China, Russia, France and Britain - plus Germany held two days of negotiations over the Islamic
Republics nuclear energy program in the Swiss city of Geneva on October 15-16.

Iran and the six major world powers have agreed to meet again in Geneva on November 7-8.
