Iran wont succumb to West pressures: Cmdr.

A senior Iranian commander says Iran will never surrender to the Wests pressure to abandon its nuclear rights during talks with the world powers.
The Iranian diplomats will be never blackmailed by the oppressive West and the Iranian people monitor the behavior of their representatives as well as that of the other side with open eyes, Deputy Chief of Staff of Iran's Armed Forces Brigadier General Massoud Jazayerisaid on Tuesday.
The [global] arrogance absurdly imagines that the Iranian diplomats will succumb to their inhumane pressures, and this shows their lack of knowledge about the Islamic Republic of Iran, he added.
Iran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council -- the United States, China, Russia, France and Britain -- plus Germany held two days of negotiations over Tehrans nuclear energy program behind closed doors in the Swiss city of Geneva on October 15-16.

During the meeting on October 15, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif presented Irans proposal titled Closing an Unnecessary Crisis, Opening a New Horizon to EU foreign policy chief, Catherine Ashton, and the representatives of the six countries. The two sides agreed to keep the details of the proposal confidential for the time being.

Following the negotiations, Ashton lauded the talks as the most detailed and substantive ever between the two sides, describing Irans proposal as an important contribution.

Iran and the six powers have agreed to meet again in Geneva on November 7-8.
