Tehran, Oct 21, IRNA -- Results of the 11th governments decisions on elimination of obstacles in the way of production and making investments in the country were announced at Sunday evening cabinet meeting, headed by President Hassan Rouhani.Ministry of Economy and Finance and the other executive organization presented reports on the moves they have made in line with the 11th governments ratifications, for eliminating the obstacles in the way of production and making investments in Iran.
It was reported that facilitating the release of goods from the countrys customs departments has already led to faster release of major goods, and decreasing the expense of storage in the customs warehouses so that 1.5 million tons of major goods, which was 40% more than the previous month, and 958 tons of medicines, worth 82 million US dollars were released from the countrys customs this month.
Also, by decreasing the time spent for customs clearance process of major goods from 8 to 4 days, the final price of the imported goods has decreased noticeably.
It was also announced at the cabinet session that an exclusive evaluation service commissioned to expedite the customs clearance of the goods for the countrys production units has been established at the countrys customs organization complexes. This measure has led to registering orders worth more than 100 million dollars thus far.
Also, in order to eliminate the obstacles in the way of production and boosting the exports of non-oil goods, the executive organizations have adopted various decisions, including reviewing the restrictions and bans on exports, devising easy rules and regulations effective till the year-end, and facilitating the obtaining of permits from the Industries, Mines and trade Ministry in shortest possible time for establishment of the new industrial units.
