Mild earthquake shakes western Iran

Tehran, Oct 15, IRNA A mild tremor measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale shook Azgaleh, in western province of Kermanshah and joint Iran-Iraq borderline early on Tuesday.
According to seismological base of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the quake occurred at 03:17 hours local time (2347 GMT Tuesday).

The quake was epicentered in an area located at 35.02 degrees latitude and 45.87 degrees longitude.

There is no report on any damage caused by the earthquake.
