Iran workers call on ILO to help remove anti-Iran sanctions

Tehran, Oct 12, IRNA – Confederation of Iranian Workers Representatives sent a letter to the International Labor Organization (ILO) calling for removing oppressive sanctions against the Iranian labors.

The letter was sent to ILO Director-General Guy Ryder.

The letter referred to the recent speech of the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani delivered to the UN General Assembly calling for a world free from violation and extremism.

Unfortunately, the letter said, ILO has banned Iran’s labor society and rejected any cooperation with it and provided no services to the Iranian workers.

The ban on workers’ society in Iran is against the ILO regulations, the letter reiterated.

It added that Confederation of the Iranian Workers Representatives expects the ILO to have constructive interaction with labors and their families around the globe.
