TEHRAN Oct 09 (Shana): Managing-Director of National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Roknoddin Javadi has underlined the significant role of outsourcer for the implementation of projects.
“Implementation of projects depends on the proper performance of outsourcer as well as positive interaction between the outsourcer and the contractor, but the role of outsourcer is very important,” Javadi said.
He was addressing an event to introduce Abdorreza Hosseinnejad as the new managing-director of Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC).
“Given the extent of activities of PEDEC and its project-oriented nature, boosting PEDEC as the outsourcing company could guarantee success in many petroleum industry projects,” said Javadi.
He added that the outsourcer must be capable of managing the contractor in the best possible manner. “Today, the petroleum industry is facing new considerations which make the job more difficult.”
Javadi said the significant position of PEDEC in enhancing oil production was behind the appointment of veteran oil manager Hosseinnejad as the new chief.
Hosseinnejad took over from Nader Qorbani. Hosseinnejad said “cleanness and sincerity” constitute redlines in his job.
“I hope that by respecting these two principles in PEDEC, we will be able to realize the objectives.”
Hosseinnejad is a former managing-director of National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction Company (NIOEC) and a former official in the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC).
