Iran films enter nominee lineup at Polish Filmfest

The 2013 Polish international independent film awards dubbed Grand OFF has nominated two Iranian screen productions for different sections.
Iranian filmSky Is Not Emptydirected by Yaser Talebi will contend for Best Documentary award of the competition.

Reza Teimouri was also nominated for the Best Cinematographer award for his work inGlimmer.

Directed by Omid Abdollahi, the film chronicles the story of an old optician who is going to close his optometry shop due to his weak eyesight and one of his clients who has not come to pick up her eyeglasses.

The film won the Jury Prize in the Short Fiction Competition at the 16th Ismailia International Film Festival for Documentaries and Shorts in Egypt.

The seventh edition of Grand OFF awards is scheduled to take place in the Polish capital Warsaw from December 6 through 8, 2013.

The winners will be announced during the closing ceremony of the event.
