India calls for investment in Chabahar Free Trade Zone

Tehran, Oct 9, IRNA – Indian Ambassador to Tehran D. P. Srivastava said on Wednesday that India is keen on enhanced of economic cooperation with Iran at Chabahar Free Trade Zone.

India is to launch a trial program for transit of goods through Chabahar Free Trade Zone to Milak border point, he said.

The Indian government is willing to invest in various economic sectors as transit of goods, benefit from existing facilities at Chabahar FTZ, he said adding that India also calls for investment at industrial sectors of Chabahar.
According to Chabahar FTZ, the Indian ambassador and his entourage visited various commercial and industrial sections of Chabahar Free Trade Zone.
