30pc increase in non-oil exports from NW Iran

Khoy, West Azarbaijan prov, Oct 8, IRNA Governor of the provincial city of Khoy announced Tuesday that non-oil exports from the city has shown a 30 percent increase in terms of value in the first half of the Iranian calendar year compared with its preceding year.
Speaking in a local gathering in this northwestern provincial city, Gholam Hossein Ammar said that some 30,000 tons of various goods, worth 14 million dollars, have been exported from Khoy during the said period (March 21-September 22, 2013).

Ammar said building materials and decorative stones were major exported items which have been sent to Italy, Iraq, Turkey and Armenia from Khoy markets.
