Qom, Oct 5, IRNA - Some 62,448 tons of commodities, worth $115.3 million were exported from Qom province during the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21, 2013), said managing director of Qom Customs Office on Saturday.
Ahmad Zakeri added that the figure shows a 84 percent growth in terms of weight and a 45 percent increase in terms of value compared to the corresponding period last year.
He said the commodities were mainly exported to Iraq, Afghanistan, UAE, Armenia, Uzbekistan and Lebanon.
Zakeri added that meanwhile, 48,161 tons of goods worth $230.4 million were imported to the province during the period marking two and six percent increases in terms of weight and value, respectively, compared to the previous year.
