Netanyahu worlds biggest hypocrite: US ex-lawmaker

A former US lawmaker has slammed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahus hypocritical stance about Irans peaceful nuclear activities while Tel Aviv itself possesses a colossal nuclear stockpile,Press TVreports.
He (Netanyahu) is the biggest hypocritical so-called leader in the world. It is unbelievable that he could stand up before the United Nations and the world and talk about Irans nuclear program when he is sitting on hundreds of nuclear weapons, horrific biological weapons including all kinds of viruses, David Duke, a former member of the House of Representatives, told Press TV on Wednesday.
The US politician slammed Netanyahus new anti-Iran remarks at the UN session, noting, It is just insane to think about an Israeli leader with nuclear weapons trying to argue for sanctions and repression and even attacks.
During his Tuesday speech at the 68th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Netanyahu called for the escalation of international pressure against Iran and threatened unilateral military action against the country.

He repeated his baseless accusation that Tehran is seeking to develop nuclear weapons.

The Israeli regime is widely believed to be the sole possessor of a nuclear arsenal in the Middle East with more than 200 undeclared nuclear warheads. Tel Aviv has rejected global calls to join the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and does not allow international inspectors to observe its controversial nuclear program.

This while Iran is a signatory to the NPT and its nuclear sites are under the constant supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The United States, Israel and some of their allies have repeatedly accused Iran of pursuing non-civilian objectives in its nuclear energy program.

Iran has categorically rejected the allegation, stressing that as a committed member of the IAEA and a committed signatory to the NPT, it is entitled to develop nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

In addition, the IAEA has conducted numerous inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities but has never found any evidence showing that the Iranian nuclear program has been diverted toward non-civilian objectives.
