Rouhanis UN speech gets wide media coverage

Islamabad, Sept 25, IRNA - Pakistani media on Wednesday gave wide coverage in its update stories to the speech of Iranian President Hassan Rouhani at the United Nations General Assembly session.
Daily Express Tribune website reported that Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has condemned international sanctions against Iran and also hit out at Americas use of drones.

Speaking at the UN General Assembly, Rouhani said Iran poses absolutely no threat to the world.

The Iranian leader reaffirmed his countrys position that its nuclear drive is exclusively peaceful.

Nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction have no place in Irans security and defense doctrine, and contradict our fundamental religious and ethical convictions, Rouhani said.
