Iran unveils new air-launched missiles
TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran unveiled two new air-launched missile systems on Wednesday in a ceremony attended by Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan on the 4th day of Holy Defense Week (marking the 8-year imposed war against Iran by Iraq from 1980-1988).
"The competent and professional experts of Iran's Aerospace Organization of Iranian Defense Ministry managed to design and produce the air-launched version of these missiles after mass production of anti-ship cruise missiles of 'Qader' and 'Nasr' with their exceptional creativity and invention," Dehghan said.

The missiles of Qader (capable) and Nasr (victory) have been designed in Iran for the first time. Qader's range covers 200 km and that of Nasr is about 35 km.

Swift preparation, flying at low altitudes, high precision in annihilating the required targets specially naval crafts, high destruction power and high resistance in confronting RF disturbances are some capabilities of the missile systems, he added.
