Tehran, Sept 24, IRNA - First Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri said on Tuesday that President Hassan Rouhani has opened a new horizon to world nations through promotion of rationality, dialogue, logic, independence and mutual understanding.The culture of the Iranian nation and officials is based on dialogue, he said.
Highlighting the significant achievements of the the Iranian nation during eight-year Sacred Defense, he said the enemies did their best to uproot the Islamic Revolution, but to no avail.
Irans Sacred Defense taught an important lesson to the world that nobody can suppress the Iranian nation through threats, pressure or war, he said.
The world has to realize that the Iranian nation shoud be respected and addressed through the language of dialogue, he said.
The world is now waiting to see the performance of the Iranian President at the 68th UN General Assembly session, he said.
He expressed the hope that the Iranian President would make significant achievements at the UN General Assembly meeting in New York.
