Iranian “Cinderella” being run in Tehran
The first part of a Trilogy by well-known Iranian Playwright, Jalal Tehrani, staring Behnoosh Tabatabayi andGolab Adineh has been running at Tehran’s  Shahr (City) Theater, a historical and popular complex in Iran.
“Cinderella” tells the story of a common girl who left her shoe in a colonel office, and this is the beginning of rumors turning her into an Iranian Cinderella.

The director and playwright stressed that his works have always resulted from his many questions and said: “Dracula, Cinderella and Macbeth 2011 are my three plays in each one a societal challenge has been addressed.”

His first premier of this trilogy has focused on “rumors” targeting a very common girl and causing her problems, in which with Golab Adineh featured a masculine role, i.e. the colonel.

The show is scheduled to run from 19:30 PM- 21:20 PM till September 23rd and has sold 85 Billion Tomans in its first 16th run.
