Tehran, Sept 12, IRNA � Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in a decree on Thursday appointed Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani as his representative to the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC).
According to report by the Supreme Leaders Office, Shamkhani will hold the post for three years.

Earlier this week, the rear admiral was appointed as the SNSCs secretary by President Hassan Rohani.
