Tehran, Sept 9, IRNA � Managing Director of the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) Majid Omidi Shahraki said free-thinking and independent media and press worldwide face many restrictions in reflecting truth.
He made the remarks here Monday in a meeting with an Slovenian cultural and media delegation.

He said big news conglomerates in the world never reflect truth and fail to disseminate real news and information.

He said the news disseminated via telecommunication devices and systems never tell the truth about the real nature of the events.

Noting that the telecommunications is used in the world by totally colonial companies, the IRNA chief reiterated that many big news corporations worldwide are just to provide and safeguard interests of big companies.
