TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian researchers at Khajeh Nasir Poly Technique University are working on a project to transfer data through gas pipelines.


"Many research projects are being underway at Khajeh Nasir University and its faculties on different scientific domains," said Mehdi Ehsanian, the University Vice President in Research Department.

He further added transferring information and data through the pipelines is another project underway in the university.

The data is usually conveyed by telecommunications and power cables, but the plan makes it possible to transfer audio and video data as wellas other sorts of information through gas pipelines
