Wolves were kept in house by Iranian villager
PIRANSHAHR, West Azerbaijan Province -Hossein Soleiymani, the head of the Environmental Protection Organization in Piranshahr, has announced the discovery of three wolves in a residential house, the Mehr News Agency reported on Saturday.
Soleiymani explained how the three wolves were being kept by a man in his house at Jeldian village near Piranshahr.

Piranshahr is a Kurdish inhabited city in West Azerbaijan Province in northwestern Iran.

The Environmental Protection Organization with the cooperation of the police was able to identify the house and discover and rescue the wild animals, Soleiymani said.

He went on to say that the wolves, two females and one male, were taken in by the villager when they were only a cub.

After a quick health checkup on the three wolves, now adults, they were released back into their natural habitats.

The villager is now under arrest.
