Tehran, Sept 3, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian Tuesday held talks with visiting Director General of Swiss Foreign Ministry for the Middle East Affairs Wolfgang Amadeus Brulhart on latest regional developments, including Syria.
Brulhart heading a delegation arrived in Tehran on Sunday to hold talks with the Iranian officials.
On Sunday, the Swiss diplomat separately met two other deputy foreign ministers for American and European affairs.
The two sides stressed the significance of using diplomacy as a proper way to bring about regional peace and security.
They expressed hope to promote bilateral relations in parliamentary, cultural, economic and political fields.
