The Iranian Foreign Minister called his colleagues from 10 countries, informing them of the official position of Tehran on the Syrian issue.

The Iranian minister said that the issue of the use of chemical weapons in Syria and the identification of persons involved in the chemical attack will be clear only after verification of the UN experts.

According to him, the population of Iran has suffered a serious damage from the effects of chemical weapons.

Mohammad Javad Zarif also gave a description of a possible military intervention in the Syrian conflict from the outside: “The world cannot tolerate another war. The use of brutal force or threats is inadmissible in the 21st century. Military intervention will not only stop the conflict, but will spread it to the region”.
