Iran and China as two powerful states to consolidate ties

Beijing, August 17, IRNA Anniversary of the establishment of ties between Iran and China as two big countries which bewilder the whole world by their growing power has coincided with the election of Hassan Rohani as Irans new president this year.
Given the motto of the new cabinet which focuses on pursue and hope, Beijing feels satisfied with the positive political developments in Iran.

Iran and China established their first official diplomatic relations over four decades ago in August 16, 1971.

During the period, the timeline of bilateral relations has witnessed many landmark events including a meeting between the leaders of the two countries. However, the more important element in mutual relations, is the positive attitude the two countries maintain towards each other.

The Chinese mass media has been focusing on the election of Rohani as the new president of Iran in the past few weeks, publishing news which has influenced the public opinion in turn.

Both the media and the public look at the election of President Rohani and the vote of confidence his cabinet won from the Parliament as the advent of a new significant era in the history of bilateral ties between the two countries. They share the idea that Tehran-Beijing relations will further improve.

Describing Iran as very important country in the sensitive region of the Middle East, Wang Jiang who works in the railway network said Tehran surely plays a significant role in the regional and international arena.

He believed Iran will accomplish more achievements and take bigger steps towards tackling its domestic and international issues with the help of its new government.

He said the US sanctions against Iran were wrong and hailed the resistance of the Iranian nation vis--vis Wests pressures.

A university student, Liu Wang Li Yong, said the fact that the new Iranian government has adopted prudence and hope as its motto indicates its inclination to send a positive message to the world.
