TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran plans to host the 4th international conference on astronomy late October."The 4th Occultations Conference on TNOs, occultations, variable stars, exoplanets, robotic and virtual observations, spectroscopy, image processing, astrobiology and other related areas will be held," said Mohammad Reza Shafizadeh, Director of the conference committee, adding the conference is scheduled for October 24.
Those interested can send their articles (either in English or Persian) tohttp://iota-me.com/index.php?do=formup to September 20. The deadline is not extended further. The articles can be presented in the forms of speech, poster or conference, and all of the accepted documents would be released in the conference scientific book.
The conference is sponsored by International Occultation and Timing Association/Middle East Section (IOTA/ME), Iran's Space Agency (ISA) and IAU Global Office of Astronomy for Development (OAD).
