Amoli Larijani denies claim Judiciary has a share in Rouhani’s proposed cabinet

TEHRAN, Aug. 13 (MNA) – Iranian Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani has dismissed the claim by an MP that the Judiciary has a share in the cabinet proposed by President Hassan Rohani.

“According to the Constitution, the justice minister has to be proposed by the Judiciary chief in coordination with the president, which does not mean it (the Judiciary) has a share,” Amoli Larijani wrote in a message to the parliament on Monday when MPs started a debate about the proposed ministers.
