TEHRAN, Aug. 8 (MNA) Three Iranian football teams were punished with a deduction of one point due to fan violence.
Esteghlal, Malavan and Saipa found guilty after their fans behaved poorly during the Iranian Professional League matches.
Esteghlal and Saipa supporters used inappropriate language against the referees and the Iranian Football Federation's disciplinary committee handed the teams one point deduction.
Malavan also was punished after their fans threw objects on the field during the match against Damash.
