TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iranian biochemists at Tehran University have designed a new nanobiotechnology-based molecular method for easy and swift diagnosis of microorganisms and salmonellosis which cause digestion inspection.
The current diagnostic kits are using time-consuming methods and lack sufficient sensitivity, while the newly-developed method has higher speed comparing to current diagnostic ways and higher level of sensitivity.
The research project can be employed in using nanoparticles for simple and low-cost diagnosis of bacteria, achieving bacteria diagnosis know-how in short time and microorganism and molecular diagnosis based on nanotechnology.
The resultsof the research have been published in Biosensors and Bioelectronics Journal.
