Turkey, Iran cooperate in “youth and sports”

Turkish cabinet approved on Thursday the cooperation program in “youth and sports” between Iran and Turkey.

The cooperation program signed on February 13 in Ankara covers knowledge and experience sharing in various branches of sports, mutual visits, attending seminars and conferences, joint camps and preparatory matches and exchange of sports equipment.

In the field of “youth”, delegations from governmental institutions and NGOs from Iran and Turkey will hold meetings, organize friendship weeks and plan events to develop the social network of young people.

A joint committee will also be established and meet annually as part of the program.
