Senior MP: Interaction remains Iran's constant policy

TEHRAN (FNA)- A senior Iranian legislator underlined Tehran's stable policy of interaction with different world states, and said the Islamic Republic of Iran moves on a logical path.

"The foreign policy principles of the Islamic Republic of Iran are stable, and based on these constant principles, the Islamic Republic's approach is naturally comprised of interaction with the world," member of the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Kazzem Jalali said on Sunday.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran moves based on logic," he added.

In relevant remarks in June, another Iranian legislator cautioned the world powers participating in talks with Iran over the country's nuclear program that they shouldnt expect Iran's president-elect Hassan Rouhani to change the country's nuclear policy.

"The so-called Group 5+1 (US, Russia, France, China and Britain plus Germany) was waiting for Iran's presidential election from a long time ago in a bid to see new positions in Iran's nuclear policy," Chairman of the parliament's Foreign Policy Subcommittee Vahid Ahmadi said.

Ahmadi underlined that the principles of Iran's nuclear policy are stable and are subject to no change under the new governments.

"The new government (of Rouhani) will continue its predecessors' nuclear policies and will pursue the same legal trend in Iran's nuclear program which is one of the obvious and basic rights of the nation," he added.
