Kuala Lumpur, July 23, IRNA – Malaysian Minister of Home Affairs Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on Tuesday voiced his countrys readiness to broaden all-out ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Hamidi made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Iranian Foreign Ministry Director-General for East Asia-Pacific, Rasoul Mohajer.
He thanked for a message from Iranian Interior Minister delivered by the Iranian foreign Ministry official to him and welcomed Irans proposal for formation of a joint committee to pursue promotion of bilateral cooperation.
Meanwhile the Iranian official called for further cooperation between Iranian Interior Ministry and Malaysian Ministry of Home Affairs to solve the problems of Iranian expatriates living in Malaysia and improve their life standards and educational services.
