Flowers to adorn the blue waters of the Persian Gulf

TEHRAN, July. 1 (MNA) On the anniversary of US navys terrorist attack on an Iranian civilian jet airliner, flowers will be thrown on the location of the incident in the Persian Gulf.
Director of public relations at the Foundation for Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense Works and Values said: Throwing flowers in the Persian Gulf where the incident occurred, holding a photography exhibition with the theme Flight 655 in 10 different locations in the Province of Hormozgan, outdoor city advertising, publication of exclusive journal of Sunday Mornings Flight in 4000 copies, holding an exhibition called Sunday Mornings Flight in international airports of Bandar Abbass and Fars province are among programs organized by the Foundation for Preservation and Publication of Sacred Defense Works and Values in Hormozgan on the occasion.

He further added that last week an Appreciation Certification was granted to the wife of the martyr Mohsen Rezaian, the pilot of the airliner by the foundation.

As reported by Tavana, July 3, 1988 is the day when the civilian Airbus airliner carrying 290 passengers which included 57 children, was targeted in a terrorist attack by United States Navy guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes over the Persian Gulf and the all the innocent passengers were killed.
