TEHRAN (ISNA)-�Head of Iranian Renewable Energy Organization Yousef Armodeli announced on Tuesday that the country has manufactured mobile crane for wind plant turbines.
"Now we have 170 wind turbines in Iran which need crane for annual maintenance and inflict considerable expenses. Mobile crane has been designed to lower these expenses and lessen reliance to foreign-made cranes," Armodeli told ISNA.

The crane with small dimension can be installed on turbine and can help the maintenance group repairing the turbine, he said, adding the newly-developed system can be uninstalled and installed on the other machine when the maintenance process is over.

The devise saves over $100,000,000 in turbine repairmen expenses.
