Beijing hosts seminar on Persian language

TEHRAN, Jun. 22 (MNA) Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) hosted a seminar on Persian language on Friday.
A group of Iranologists, officials and university students attended the one-day seminar, the Persian service of IRNA reported on Friday.

BFSU President Han Zhen made a brief speech at the seminar and said that friendship between the two countries of Iran and China is growing faster as time passes by.

He also stated that teaching Persian language is of high importance at the universities of China, adding that the first group of Persian language graduates from BFCU will enter the job market next month.

He expressed hope that more Chinese youth would show willingness to learn Persian with the help of Iran.

The seminar was organized by the School of Asian and African Studies of BFCU, and Irans Cultural Attachs Office in Beijing.

Moreover, Beijing is hosting an Iranian Cultural Festival, which opened on Thursday.
