Traditional Iranian musicians to perform in Sweden

Leading traditional Iranian musicians Hossein Alizadeh and Mohammad Motamedi are planning to perform a duet program during a concert in Sweden.
The prominent composer and Tar maestro Alizadeh is to present a repertoire of his new compositions at the concert.

The award winning musician and vocalist Motamedi is scheduled to accompany Alizadeh at the program.

Alizadeh is a musician with significant abilities who has created remarkable and memorable pieces, said Motamedi

This is a great honor for me to contribute to Alizadehs performance, he noted.

Alizadeh who is a master of classical Persian music was nominated for the Grammy Award in 2007.

Born in 1978, Motamedi also performed several concerts in Iran and some other countries that were warmly received.

He garnered France Musique World Music Award at the 2013 Babel Med Music festival.

As the winner of the section, Motamedi was granted to record a CD with Radio France Ocora Records the following year.

He has been also invited to the 2013 Beiteddine Art Festival in Lebanon to perform concert at the opening ceremony of the festival on June 21, 2013.
