Irans eight presidential candidates are set to take part in their second round of live debates on Irans state TV.
The debate will start on Wednesday at 04:00 pm local time (11:30 am GMT) and is planned to continue for four hours.

Art and culture will be the topics of the second presidential debate.

The first debate was aired live on Iran's state TV on Friday, during which the eight candidates spoke about their economic plans ahead of the upcoming presidential poll. They offered their solutions to the countrys economic problems and answered questions on major economic issues.

A number of the candidates, including Mohammad Reza Aref, Mohsen Rezaei, Hassan Rohani and Saeed Jalili objected to the format of the first live televised debate.

The organizers say it is not possible to arrange one-on-one debates for the candidates due to the limited time ahead of the June 14 election and the number of the candidates.

Iranians will cast their ballots at over 66,000 polling stations across the country in the nations 11th presidential election. Iranian nationals will also be able to vote at 285 polling stations that will be set up abroad.

The president of Iran is elected for a four-year term in a national election.
